The Bulgogi Brothers

Another Korean Restaurant for Korean Food Fans

This restaurant have been around for quite sometime and i have always seen it while passing by e-Curve. There was once that i wan to try it out but my frenz told me that it was not nice (therefore it had deter me from trying it)
However last weekend i have decided to give it a try as we are running out of food choices in Curve (imagine i was in curve every weekend for dinner...how many restaurant is left to savor??).
But Korean food was never really my fancy.

For every order, they will serve a 'welcome food'...
this is apart from the famous cultural korean small side dishes
i know it looks very little.. i wish they will give more edamame next time

They serve oksusu cha (corn tea) which taste superb

This are their small side dishes.
The taste are very much localized for Malaysian liking which is good
i will rate this 7 out of 10

Their Haemul Gungjung Mandu is a must have item if you patronized Bulgogi Brothers.
It's so..so..so delicious !
i will rate this 10 of of 10

Their Korean pan cake is another must have item.
You wont even hesitate to order this dish if you are at Bulgogi Brothers..
Rating 9 out of 10
"the moment you enter the restaurant, you will see the chef doing this at the front open kitchen"
;D

Their Bibimbap is a little tasteless compare to rest.
Not much to my liking
i will only rate this 5 out of 10

I am not sure what is this dish call.. Its a stir fry chicken with topoki.
Quite delicious i must say...
My rate form this dish 7 out of 10

The price range for this restaurant is quite affordable. In total for dinner, we spend RM280 for 8 person. Wil definitely visit this place again if i have korean food cravings... =D

Sole Searching

An Event For Shoes Lover's

It was a boring Saturday morning and I was flipping through the newspaper as usual... Something caught my eyes. It was an ad for 'Malaysia International Shoe Festival' (MISF) at PWTC. In my mind, 'What the heck! Just go look-see look-see' since I am so free. So here is what I found at the fair..

You are greeted by this gigantic shoe at the main entrance of PWTC Hall.

There is also a wide display of Shoes Design For Competition. Below are some of the unique design by our promising upcoming designers in Malaysia.

This one.. to me it looks like the shoes for the modern "La Cha"
(from the famous Monkey God TVB series. His fiery wheels)

This I must say is serious unique..why i say so..?
Coz its a duo usage shoes in one...can you see it..
The top part is the 'slip on sandal' and the side part is the 'slippers'

This one is suitable for the 'Monkey God' Women version.

Maybe next time our Lion Dance troop can try to use this shoe design for the performance.
For an all Gals troop, maybe?? =D

Also on display is our Malaysia Biggest Sculpture Made of shoe laces. Created by The One Academy

Of coz not to forget our famous shoe designer "Jimmy Choo" Booth at MISF.
The grande booth design + the sound system really captures everyone there.

One of Jimmy Choo's creation on display.

It was quite a rewarding visit, as I manage to get myself a few items like YES 4G Huddle (yes..!! My new gadget ^_^), a few pairs of shoes and etc. Of course i also manage to catch a glimpse of Jimmy Choo having tea-a-tea inside the fair designated F&B session (i must say, he is a very down to earth man).
