A blessing for the baby to be smart and Wealthy...
Stumble upon this special service and products in the recent Motherhood Expo in KLCC convention known as a blessing to ensure our baby grow up to be smart, wise, intelligent, wealthy and etc etc etc...
In the olden days when we were born, our parents will usually keep our belly cord (better known as baby cordial. The dry skin that drop off after a week or so) and also our first shave baby hair (those shave off during our full moon) for luck and wisdom. It's believe that there are 3 precious thing when we are born (haha...never know le..). The 1st thing is "the infant hair" means fortune, the 2nd thing is "baby cordial" means treasury and the last thing is "baby hand and foot print" which carries the expectation and blessing of parents to children, to have a prudent and realistic move towards a bright future.
Legend has it that, during the Tang dynasty, there was a scholar who came from a very poor family. When its his time to take the imperial test, the mom have to resolve to using his infant hair (which she kept when he was young) to make a brush for him. Fortunately he pass his exam With flying colours. The success of the scholar had been renown thanks to the baby hairbrush that he had brought with him to the exam.
Therefore, the baby hair brush is know as the "wisdom brush" or "scholar brush". Is to bless the child with wisdom and intelligence. While the personal royal stamp is to bless the child with wealth and good life.
Classy baby traditional writing set. Comes with a writing brush (made of the baby hair), personal royal stamp (engraved with the baby name. The baby cordial is seal inside the stamp) and an ink stamp.
The baby foot print in glass and musical box display style. In order to do this, the parents can request the store people to come over to the house or they can opt to visit the store o get it done.
I must say this is an interesting baby gift as its special and one of its kind. All of their products are from taiwan. According to the owner, they will take the stuff (baby hair and baby cordial) to taiwan to make and then bring them back to KL.
Believe it or not, there is no harm trying.. Better still its not very expensive if you are seriously looking for a memorable gift.
