I thrilled when I saw on my Facebook on the invites for MDDB dogs party on 31^st August 2012 at ‘SuperPetFans Pet Center’ in The Strand, Kota Damansara.. I was thinking how cool could this be…

When I reach there is was an eye-opener.. Personally I have never been into such a lovely pet center. Even the staffs are super friendly. They took us on a tour of their center before proceeding to the café for the party.. on this ground floor is the grooming center and also the pet supplies shop. A cozy shopping environment. You can get almost anything for your pets here. Next we went to the pet lodging area. The moment I enter the pet hotel (which i think is a more suitable word for it, is located on the 1^st floor), I was wondering if it’s for human or for pets, coz the deco is so lovely with chandelier lighting and comfy doggie bed for each room (it’s room ok.. NOT cages !). Trust me, if you place your pets here over the holidays, I am very sure your pets won’t feel stress or home sick at all. My god..even i also feel like staying there...

Isn't it a lovely place for your pet to stay while you away for holiday...

After that we proceed to the café which is located on the 2^nd floor of the premise. In this café they provide not only cooked meals for human but also special home cooked food for your pets. It’s like a human-pet buddies hang out area, where you get to read your book while your pets get to play at the playground created for them..Cool ler…!! Their pricing wise? Super affordable..serious..

Princess - My Foster Dog

An NGO that help me see the world differently...

About 3 weeks ago, i came across an update mention on my friend facebook page on  a NGO known as 'Malaysian Dog Deserve Better'. MDDB is actually an NGO that not only believe but also provide hope for all abandon dogs, lost dogs, stray dogs for a chance to be loved and have a home.

I started my first help out by fostering for a lost dog...which i name her 'princess' . Princess is a small spitz mix about 3 years old. she is a lovely dog who doesn't bark or make noise. She wont boher you , maybe occasionally she will come and peek and what you are doing, otherwise she mainly will not disturb you at all...

Her favourite will be her ikea sleeping bag (those blue shopping bag that ikea sell at their check out counters). No idea why...she just love to sleep in them...even there is pillow or towels for her, she will still choose the blue ikea bag..my hubby always tease me that the dog do look like the fosterer -which is me (who has a craze for ikea stuff)..

I was so sad that i have to send her back for the adoption drive after fostering her for 3 weeks...the night before the adoption drive i couldn't sleep..and even princess can't seem to sleep. I guess she know we will be separating very soon...i guess we have develop the so-call 'human dog buddies' relationship..but i am glad that she found a good home. Princess was adopted by 2 lovely gals from puchong. She will always be reminded in my heart.
