My Secret Porky Affair

A delightful affair to wrap up 2013….

2013 can be consider a smooth sailing year for me. As many people have predicted… 2014 maybe a rough and tough. To better prepare myself to welcome 2014, me and my friend had decided to go for a full swine affair on New Year’s Eve…

Due to limited perut space, we can only order 1 meal to share. If not, we won't be able to accomplish our year end mission .. "Porky Secret Affair"

For our starter, Our 1st stop was CEO Burger @ Bandar Menjalara in Kepong. This place was open since October 2013, however I have never gotten the chance to try it out until now… ^_^

Kepong first burger joint for their folks...
Finally, there is something else besides steamboat joint... hooraayy...!!!

Located at the famous steamboat area. This burger joint is definitely eye catching
(Opposite Momo Steamboat)

The CEO Absolute A Burger.
A yummy burger pack with delicious bacon strip, pork patty, fresh vegetables, cheese, secret sauce and charcoal bun. All burger meal served with herbs infused fries (drink are sold separately).

A bit pricey for a pork burger set. However its worth the bucks.@_@

For our main course, we head-on to Juro @ Bandar Menjalara (Located not Far from CEO Burger. A walking distance of about 5 mins)

Another pork heaven in Kepong. Highly recommended for any pork lovers.

Mushroom soup

Our Pork affair set. Set consists of pork ham, Texas bbq pork rib, Pasta, fresh veggies and coleslaw. Quite a fulfilling and mouth watering set for 2 pax.

Besides...you can also buy delicious pork delicacies such as german sausages, pork ham, pork slice and many more.. !! yum..yum..!! OH..you will get 10% off on all porky delicacies if you are a diner. =D
A very good deal le...!!

Quite reasonably price.

After Juro, we hop-on to our last stop... SWINE @ Publika, for our dessert....

No meal will be complete without this delicious, bacon ice-cream from SWINE...

This conclude my wrap-up for 2013 and be-ready for 2014 rocky path... Happy New Year to all and stay positively strong for 2014   ^_^

The Bulgogi Brothers

Another Korean Restaurant for Korean Food Fans

This restaurant have been around for quite sometime and i have always seen it while passing by e-Curve. There was once that i wan to try it out but my frenz told me that it was not nice (therefore it had deter me from trying it)
However last weekend i have decided to give it a try as we are running out of food choices in Curve (imagine i was in curve every weekend for dinner...how many restaurant is left to savor??).
But Korean food was never really my fancy.

For every order, they will serve a 'welcome food'...
this is apart from the famous cultural korean small side dishes
i know it looks very little.. i wish they will give more edamame next time

They serve oksusu cha (corn tea) which taste superb

This are their small side dishes.
The taste are very much localized for Malaysian liking which is good
i will rate this 7 out of 10

Their Haemul Gungjung Mandu is a must have item if you patronized Bulgogi Brothers.
It's so..so..so delicious !
i will rate this 10 of of 10

Their Korean pan cake is another must have item.
You wont even hesitate to order this dish if you are at Bulgogi Brothers..
Rating 9 out of 10
"the moment you enter the restaurant, you will see the chef doing this at the front open kitchen"
;D

Their Bibimbap is a little tasteless compare to rest.
Not much to my liking
i will only rate this 5 out of 10

I am not sure what is this dish call.. Its a stir fry chicken with topoki.
Quite delicious i must say...
My rate form this dish 7 out of 10

The price range for this restaurant is quite affordable. In total for dinner, we spend RM280 for 8 person. Wil definitely visit this place again if i have korean food cravings... =D

Quickie at Namoo On The Park

Welcome to Namoo...!!

You won't miss this restaurant when you see it in Publika. It's located smack right in front of The Main Entrance and on top of MPH. Namoo On The Park , with a cute cartoon character of the chef...
neh!! you wouldn't miss it.

It's a Korean dessert and cafe that serves authentic Korean delicacies with a slight twist of local flavors. Their ingredients are all freshly import from Korea and some are source locally. Their dessert is something you would die for..
.
Lovely and cute front entrance greeting you.

Cozy sofa area for those who plan to hangout for longer period to do some reading or works.

Down to earth indoor dining area.

If you have kids with you, you can opt to have your lunch or dinner at the outdoor dining area where its facing a playground. So that your kids can play while you watch them and enjoy your meals.

Their delicious pumpkin cake served with ice-creams.
p/s : don't look down on this piece of cake. It's very..very...very fulfilling. i was struggling to finish it for almost 2 hours. So be smart and get a friend  to share it with you

Oh...before i forget, they also have reminders on their serviette for the ladies
"There is hook under the table to hang your bag"
A pretty good idea for a duo usage of the napkin (besides wiping mouth ^_^ )

Food Talk Restaurant

As the name suggested, let's us talk bout food and fun...!

Nestled in a bustling community of Kuchai Lama, We stumble upon this restaurant while we were hunting for food with a friend after the shopping spree in NSK. A pretty interesting place for hanging out (you know..just chilling out and catching up on the who, what, when, where, how). Upon entering the restaurant, we was greeted by nice and friendly staff.
The food menu I must say was an eye opening. Don't believe it, try reading on some of the food titles in the pictures below..
Introducing the "Ham Dan Fish Chop Rice".. It's actually salted egg fish chop rice..The food title was a direct translation from Chinese. So how would you read and perceive it?
Next is the "One Ding Before Out"... Hahaha..it's actually a famous Hong Kong instant noodle reference..also another direct Chinese translation by the owner of the restaurant
Even some of their drink have cute names.. Like their FT Special... The drinks are called First Love Hot or you can have the cold version known as First Love Cold. ...mmh.. I am just wondering if many couples come here to express their love stage mood <3 <3
If you are feeling down, come here and try their tea meals...it will definitely cheer up the rest of your evenings..order a tea meal and humor yourself with some of the games on the shelf (they are sitting there waiting for you to unleash them)

Nevertheless the food and drinks here are reasonably price...we ordered a lap Cheong fried rice, Kung Poh pork rice, butter chicken rice, vanilla Mille crepe, 4 first love hot and 2 cups of h2o and the bill came up to RM 61.00 (isn't that cheap)
