I have always visited Retro Kitchen @ SS2, PJ for their good food and unbeatable friendly staffs service. But due to my heavy workload and off schedule timing, i haven't been there for quite some time. Yesterday when i patronized them again for a chat-up session with my friends, i was in for a surprised. They are having their 2nd Anniversary promotion.

3 things :Good, Quick and Cheap !

Yummy, Delicious Healthy Lunch Below RM10 !

I did this on friday for my breakfast and lunch coz i have used up my weekly budget... ^-^

Therefore i came up with this idea to try out a healthy meal (it has always been stuffed into my head by the radio 'the most healthy meal is home cooked meal')

Ingredients needed:

...2 eggs (50 cents)

...Pratha (RM 3.00)

...1 green capsicum (RM 1.90)

...1 big onion (40 cents)

...3 slice of cheddar cheese (RM 1.80)

...oyster mushroom (RM 2.20)

...Rice

Total Spend : RM 9.80

This is what i have bought from a supermarket nearby by home. I have it prepared in the night time for tomorrow morning usage.

So i make a little effort to wake up 1 hour earlier to prepare what i had in mind

Vegetarian Hot&Roll Wrap (consist of only onions, cheese and capsicum) for breakfast. Fried Capsicum, oyster mushroom, Onion and eggs served with rice for lunch.

Best of all... the ingredients that i bought not only make 1 portion of breakfast and lunch, BUT enough to make 2 portions of breakfast and lunch (1 for myself and 1 for my hubby). So my actual spend is RM 2.45 per meal. 

Just like the famous chinese saying "pang leng cheng"

HaHaHa... this is my best discovery !!

My Weekend Affair...

When good food met crazy people divide by great location equals to what I would call 'a luxurious weekend affair' =D...

This weekend i had a time of my life. After working hard for the past months, it's time to relax, unwind and Catch up with old buddies. Nonetheless, it's also conjunction with my mom birthday.

Our first stop...Shanghai Restaurant, JW Marriott Hotel for our brunch. We had 18 dishes (not inclusive of the special cake for mom). The bill came up to RM 703.15

Our next stop ...is SHOPPING...!!!! Finally I mange to visit the long and much talk about H&M in Lot10 (I know hey have open a long..long..long..long time ago. But I have never gotten the opportunity to shop there)

After 3 long hours of shopping, we stop by for tea (to rest our poor tired feet).. Another interesting place that I have heard but never went before. The 'National Geographic' cafe in Lot10. A nice and cozy place to hangout, to do some serious reading.

It was a very fun day... It has been a long time since i have taken time off and done such a thing.. my next aim is to spend a day visiting the Old Palace, Museum Negara, Tugu Negara and KL bird park.

Yummy, yummy @ The Bee, Publika

I have always pass by this cafe whenever i drop by in Publika, but never really got the chance to walk in and have lunch there due to rush of time. However, I made an effort this time round to have lunch at Bee after my meeting..

Oh my god..the place is so cozy and friendly. Not only that the food is so delicious ^_^
How on earth could I have miss this place out for such a long time..

The food price here is very reasonable.. I went there with my colleague and we ordered mac and cheese, stir fried beef with fries, a soft drink, 1 pot of lemon mint herb tea. @_@ the bill came up to rm54 only.. It's cheap for a place like Publika..

Burt's You are My Savior

I was rushing out to work this morning and have totally forgotten to put on make up. Bad thing is i look pretty pale this morning (due to drama marathon yesterday nite...huhuhu...azdrama punya fault)

Worse still..!!  i have a lunch appointment later to meet a client...the only thing that i have a lot in my bag is lip balms...

i was thinking...okie.. my lip color is settled, BUT i can't be wearing lip color without anything else. I mean at least i must have some blusher on... (oh god...!! where to find blusher). Something strike my nutty shell..maybe i could try to smear some of the Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm on my cheeks (you know..just to give it a little color. so that i don't look so dull)

The color that i have for my tinted lip balm is pink blossom. as its 100% natural, it will be gentle enough for my face. Smear some of the tinted lip balm on my finger and gently apply in circular motion around the cheek area....... and....

I would suggest every one (especially woman) to have a Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in their bag coz it doesn't only serve as a lip balm but also double up as a cheek color enhancer. you wouldn't know when it comes in handy...

what would i have done without it.... =)

A blessing for the baby to be smart and Wealthy...

When its his time to take the imperial test, the mom have to resolve to using his infant hair (which she kept when he was young) to make a brush for him. Fortunately he pass his exam With flying colours. The success of the scholar had been renown thanks to the baby hairbrush that he had brought with him to the exam.

Therefore, the baby hair brush is know as the "wisdom brush" or "scholar brush". Is to bless the child with wisdom and intelligence. While the personal royal stamp is to bless the child with wealth and good life.

Tappers Big Breakfast...

If you think McDonald's Big Breakfast is big and delicious...try Tappers breakfast set. You will definitely come back for more.. It's healthier, tastier and bigger!

The classy deco of the restaurant will definitely make you feel like you are having breakfast in Europe...
P/s : I am not sure of others Tappers restaurant in the region.. The one that I visited is in Bangsar South.

The price range is from RM8.90 - RM11.90 for a breakfast set (inclusive of free flow of Teh Tarik or coffee).. Not expensive rite... They have 12 different sets for you to savor...!!!
